I realize I’m a bit early with the news of daylight savings but we all know how time goes by. This year, 2009, we will experience daylight savings on November 1st, 2009 at 1:59:59 a.m. Just when the clock clicks over, we Fall Back to 1:00 a.m.

I”m spreading the news now because I want you to have time to prepare for the darkness. If you have a landscape lighting system, you will want to get your replacement bulbs early. Keep in mind the holidays are coming and home safety is always a priority; a well lit path will be a big help.

Tips:

• Get your bulbs early
• Change all you bulbs at the same time each year
• Replace/repair any damaged fixtures
• Be sure to bury any visible wires (prevent accidental cuts)
